The Sedona Women’s mission statement
The Sedona Women, "Dames Who Make A Difference", are dedicated to making a positive and lasting impact on the community by providing opportunities for women to build relationships, to learn about the community, to support community needs and to enhance the natural beauty and distinctive character of Sedona.
Our History
Through the vision of founder, Helen Wolfe, The Sedona Women, “Dames Who Make A Difference”, was formed in the spring of 2000. The group’s name was determined by the consensus of 68 women at an organizational meeting on June 7, and the first officers and committees were chosen on November 19, of that year.
Membership in The Sedona Women is open to all women who care about Sedona and who are committed to making a positive and lasting impact on the community. The Sedona Women is not a political group and does not take positions on divisive community issues. Rather, it works toward creating a greater sense of community for all.
General meetings are open to all women. See our event calendar for upcoming meetings.
