Emergency Response — A Day in the Life of Sedona Fire

  • October 12, 2023
  • 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Sedona Public Library

Speakers: Sedona Fire Chief Ed Mezullis and Fire Marshal Dori Booth

The discussion will provide a comprehensive understanding of how emergency response is managed in our unique community. You will learn  what to do if you have a fire or medical emergency, the process of responding and mitigating the incident, and the moving parts that make it happen. The role of the community risk reduction division — which involves public education, code enforcement to ensure fire and life safety, and supporting local contractors with plans review for new and existing construction — will also be discussed.

This program will be held on Thursday, October 12, at the Sedona Public Library, 3250 White Bear Road, Sedona. A meet-and-greet will begin at 9:30 am, followed by the business meeting, program, and Q and A.

No registration is required and guests are welcome.

There will be an optional lunch after the meeting. The location will be announced at the meeting.
